Larry Weiss didn't go to women's basketball games until Fran Voll asked him if he would be at a game in 1968.

He couldn't say no to the man who would later become the head coach, so he and his wife attended the game.

BG offensive lineman Kory Lichtensteiger didn't even watch the NFL Draft.

He spent the day at his grandparents' house in Michigan. All he needed was good company and his cell phone to pass the time.

"I figured it would be pretty miserable to watch it," Lichtensteiger said in a phone interview.
