Are Alpha males a dying breed?

10/26/09 12:21 PM

Two weeks ago, it was sweetest day, it was my cousins wedding, and it was the day my date cancelled.   While the ego boost i recieved later that evening when I told those surrounding at the open bar about my misfortune was very reassuring, I did have a few too many Vodka and Cranberries, and passed my number off to another single attendee.   But thanks to the many facets of modern technology, the vulnerability of that first phone call was spared for this guy when he added me on Facebook the next day. And though it may be a day late and 98 pennies short, here is my 2 cents about the foursome's skillful chef-d'oeuvre. I don't hesitate to say that Veckatimest is the direction we should be going in. The tired sounds of depressing acoustic ballads will never completely bow away into the indie abyss, however Veckatimest is the hopeful Noah's Ark of albums - a life line to other bands and a direction that few recognize, but all will come to follow. ...
