The College of Education became the second building in four hours to be evacuated Wednesday due to a bomb threat, according to Wayne State Police Chief Anthony Holt.

Three bomb-sniffing canine units, two from the Detroit Police Department and one from WSUPD, are currently searching the building.

Prentis Hall was reopened after a thorough search came up negative. It is unclear whether the College of Education will stay closed.
